Religion Chat- Interfaith Friendships

September 13, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

his month’s topic is Interfaith/Intercultural Friendships that Have Enriched Our Lives.  Walter & Marsha Nakamura, Abdul Awwal, and Marian Conning will share their stories with the large group. After the presentations, there will be time for attendees to share in small groups.
BTW, For those who missed the August 9 Religion Chat: a volunteer from MCC recorded the program (speakers Dr. Ali Ataie and Rabbi Larry Milder). MCC provided this link to the youtube entitled “Islam & Judaism’s Acceptance of Other Faiths.”
The event is free of charge and is open to all.
With the purpose of bringing people of different faiths or no faith together to learn from each other and talk to each other, Interfaith Interconnect has a number of varied programs throughout the year.  For example, on September 19, we will have our annual interfaith picnic with activities for children and adults.  More information to come.
