"MEMORY THEATER" in Buffalo, New York

Seven of the McDonald Windows were loaned to the Memorial Art Gallery at the University of Rochester for a show commemorating the centennial of the gallery, titled “Memory Theater.” The exhibit, on display from October 9- December 29, 2013, includes “works that explore how memory shapes both personal and cultural identities, and the ways in which museums function as ‘memory theatres.’”

The windows were displayed in a gallery by themselves. Included in the display were the Introductory Glass Book(#1), and windows from Verdun (#6), Maastricht (#10), Metz (#11), Trier (#18), and Kolner-Dom (#19), and Coventry. To see larger versions of the windows, see the gallery.
